Be a moderator for Factored In!

At the moment, a small group of young people aged 18-30 are moderators for Factored In. This means they help monitor the Factored In website for user content (comments) and they can also add and edit events from their state or territory.

If you are a moderator for Factored In you are required to:
  • Make sure that all content that fits certain criteria is approved
  • Recognise spam, bullying or harmful comments
  • Respond appropriately to comments
  • Report inappropriate content to HFA
  • Add or update events in your state or territory

To be a moderator, these young people attended a training workshop to learn the skills they needed in order to be able to help moderate this website.

Moderating Factored In requires only a short amount of your time per month, but you will need to have access to your own computer and an internet connection.  If you think this is something that you might interested in, please email factoredin@haemophilia.org.au.
